The hotel’s gardens are accented with intriguing sculptures, such as a centuries-old Ghandaran Buddha statue beside a lagoon and Japanese-style bridge. At the entrance to Poolside restaurant stands a pair of life-sized 19th-century ceremonial elephants from India that are carved in wood and covered in hand-tapped tin relief. The hotel’s lushly landscaped entrance is accented by a 19th-century Japanese bronze fountain.

Trader Vic’s showcases a collection of unique and authentic pieces of art. The spacious art-filled restaurant almost doubles as an art gallery, with its Pacific-island colors, fabrics and tropical woods. Authentic tiki masks add a whimsical element to the Mai Tai lounge.
